An increasing percentage of the scholarly monographs and collections of essays acquired by the UCSD Libraries are in digital format. The functionalities of ebooks depend on the platform on which our access to the book is published: some publishers have their own platforms, but most of our ebooks are acquired through ebook vendors such as Ebrary, EBL, and EbscoHost. Many printed reference books are shelved in the Reference Collection of the Social Sciences & Humanities Library, located on the second floor of the west wing of Geisel Library. The call number for British literature is PR; British history is DA.
