Presenting Images

You may export ARTstor images from the Digital Library for use in classroom presentations uses in the software of your choice.

Use ARTstor's presentation tool: Offline Image Viewer (OIV)

Deliver offline image presentations
Zoom and pan while presenting images
Allows users to download up to 3200 pixels on the long side.
Import existing PowerPoint presentations
Download images and data from the ARTstor Digital Library
Upload local images to a Personal Collection in ARTstor
Use local (personal) content to build image collections

Convert an OIV presentation to PowerPoint

Involves first uploading the OIV slides to the Digital Library, opening the slides which are now an image group, and then exporting that image group to PowerPoint.

Integrating with courseware

Faculty wishing to share ARTstor content with students through local course ware systems can do so in a variety of ways:

Each image in ARTstor has a "stable URL" associated with it. This URL can be emailed, embedded in Word or PowerPoint documents, or added as a link to syllabi or to a list of resources on a course's website.

Just like individual images, every image group in ARTstor also has a stable URL associated with it. The image group URL can also be emailed, embedded in documents, and added as a link to syllabi or to a list of resources on a course's website.

If you are using the OIV to give presentations, you may wish to post these presentations to your course website for students and colleagues to download.
