If book is checked out...

To use the following services, first, set up "My Library Account" in Roger, The UC San Diego Library Catalog. Instructions for “My Library Account” are at: http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/borrowing/my-library-account.html

If a book is checked out:

  • Search by "title of the book" in Roger, The UC San Diego Library Catalog. Click on the "Request" button and fill out the form. This will recall the book from the patron who currently has it checked out. You'll then be notified when the book is ready for you to pick up.

  • Or search by "title of the book" in Roger, The UC San Diego Library Catalog and click on the link "Circuit (SD Libraries.)" If another library in the Circuit owns the book and it is AVAILABLE, request it. You'll be notified when the book is ready for you to pick up at the UCSD Geisel Library.
