You can access thousands of ebooks in the sciences, engineering, social sciences, arts, and the humanities through the UCSD Library. Use this guide to learn more about our major collections, best ways to search for ebooks, accessing on mobile devices, and how to save, copy, and print from ebooks.
UCSD Access to Ebooks
Use VPN to set up off-campus access for your iOS or Android device. You can also download the VPN AnyConnect client to your computer (use the "althuucsd" group setting when you login).
Make a change to your web browser settings, then login with your network username and password to access the ebooks on your computer from off-campus. Not available for mobile devices.
Access on campus with your laptop, tablet or mobile device if not on a campus networked computer.
