This guide is designed to help you start your research in biology and ecology. Please use the tabs above to discover and link to great resources that the UC San Diego Library is providing for your research.
You may want to start by looking at the basic information found under "Learn about your topic" above. Use the online catalog, Roger, to find books on your ecology topics, then use the "Find + Get Journal Articles" tab to find articles on your topics, and last, but not least, do use the other tabs to help with your search strategies, citing articles you find, and writing your lab report.
Please email me if you have any research questions, or questions about anything mentioned in this guide.
Things you should know about using the UC San Diego Library
Search the catalog to find out what books and journal titles the UC San Diego Library owns. The catalog will provide information about library locations for print items and links to e-books, e-journals and other online resources.
To renew your checked-out items, request items to be put on hold, recall items that are checked out by another user and transfer books from one library building to another one that is closer to you (not free). To get started, you will need to create your PIN.
