The Archive of New Poetry

The Archive for New Poetry (ANP) focuses on post-1945 experimental "New American" poetry, with a specific focus on the Objectivist, Black Mountain,  New York School, San Francisco Renaissance, and Language schools of poetry.

Examples of useful subject headings:

Mexican-American Border Region -- Poetry

Tijuana (Baja California, Mexico) -- Fiction

Tijuana (Baja California, Mexico) -- Poetry 

Tijuana (Baja California, Mexico) -- Social conditions

San Diego (Calif.) -- Fiction 

*Tip: when you find a book you are interested in, pay attention to the subject headings and see if they lead you to more work on the same topics. 

*Literary non-fiction is harder to classify. Look for "essay", "autobiography", "biography". "Social conditions" can also be useful
