UC Library Search includes the library catalogs of all 10 UC campuses and many other libraries, as well as a lot of records for journal articles, book chapters, films and videos etc.
Tips for Best Results:
1. Sign In (upper right) with your campus login before starting a session so the system knows which UC campus you belong to.
2. When you start typing, a drop-down will appear with the option to search everything, or just search the Library Catalog (2nd item shown here). If you're just trying to see what we have or verify if we have a specific item, this is what you'll want.
3. Even better: start out with Advanced Search (located in the top blue bar area to the right of the search box.
4. When you get results, use the Limits options: Some useful limits to use:
