Drugs.com provides identification information in English on foreign drug products.
Micromedex
Micromedex has several databases within it that can help with foreign drug identification. The best is Martindale. Select it after you search on the drug name you enter.
P.R. Vademecum
P.R. Vademecum is like a PDR for Latin America. Nine countries are included (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Espana, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela). These databases are in the original language of each country. This resource is accessible without the use of the UCSD VPN.
ViDAL Vademecum
ViDAL Vademecum includes PDR-like resources that contain information on drugs from Latin America, including Mexico. UCSD has access to the drug resources for Spain, Mexico, Chile, Latin America, France, and Germany. These databases are in the original language of each country. Use the Consult database to search over 40 countries and to also get a generic record for a specific drug in English language. This resource is accessible without the use of the UCSD VPN.
