Library catalogs are good places to begin looking for books & e-books by keyword, author, title, or subject. Hint: to search the fulltext of millions of books (not all of them available online) use Google Books.
Looking for a journal article? Search by the title of the journal (not the title of the article).
Note: A large and growing number of scholarly ebooks are included in both the JSTOR and Project Muse databases, which are described under the tab for Articles.
