The Library collects heavily in Korean films.

You can search most films by title, director, and principal actors in UC Library Search.   To find feature films from or about a country, use the Form/genre search  and look under "Feature films--[Country Name]"

Documentary films are found under the Form/genre search:

Most of these can be requested at the Media Desk on the ground floor of Geisel Library where you will also find viewing stations.

Web resources on Korean Films

The Korean Film Archive has a dedicated YouTube channel for their films. You will find Korean films from 1930s to present, available for free.

Kanopy is video database that comes from leading producers such as the BBC, California Newsreel, Criterion Collection, First Run Features, Kino Lorber and PBS, with more content added each year. Many of the films are from independent and specialty producers, with a focus on documentary films.
