Start Your Search with UC Library Search

  • Use caps for AND OR NOT to combine search terms. 
  • Use quotes to keep two or more words together as a phrase.
  • The Resource Type filters will limit to a specific type of source.
  • You must sign in to use the Request function.

Expand Your Search with Article Databases

Use a database when you are not finding what you are looking for in UC Library Search.

  • An  multidisciplinary database will contain information about your topic from several different disciplines. This is useful when you are exploring a topic.
  • A subject-specific database will contain information about your topic from the viewpoint of a specific subject area. This is useful when you want to dig deeper into the literature.
