This guide is designed to help you start your research papers and/or projects using library resources on the subject of "Hong Kong Films - Films of Wong Kar-Wai".
How do I find course reserves?
Log on to the course reserve system and select the class you want to view. Depending on the subject, course reserve materials may be checked out from the Geisel Front Desk, the Media Desk on the first floor of Geisel, or WongAvery Library Front Desk.
What is my AD login?
Your AD login is what you use to access your UCSD email, TED, the protected wifi or VPN, and ACMS computers. The username is usually the first part of your email address before the @ucsd.edu. If you need to reset your password, please visit https://password.ucsd.edu/
How long may I keep a course reserve item?
The majority of course reserve materials are checked out for 3 hours. Some materials reserved for graduate-level courses may be checked out for 24 hours. Overnight checkout is available for 3-hour items, 3 hours before the Front Desk closes. Items checked out overnight are due back 2 hours after the Library opens the following day. We will always tell you exactly what time your item is due. If you forget, you may check your library account online.
Where can I return a course reserve item?
Course reserves must be returned to the desk from which the material was borrowed. After-hours book returns are located next to the Geisel Library’s entrance. During the Geisel Overnight Study Commons open hours, course reserves may also be returned to the Geisel Front Desk book drop.
