Library Services during COVID-19

Library Services during COVID-19

Students can get real-time online research assistance through our 24/7 online chat service, ask questions via email, or schedule a consultation with a librarian. Please note that the 24/7 service is staffed by a national network of librarians while email is staffed exclusively by UC San Diego librarians.

Please remember that in order to access online library resources remotely (e.g., article databases and ebooks), you must be logged in to the campus Virtual Private Network (VPN). If you run into any problems logging into the VPN, please contact the UCSD IT Help Desk.

Off-campus Access

Get directions for working off campus using the UC San Diego network.

Need help? Contact the ITS Service Desk:

* Why? The Library's online resources are restricted so that only current UC San Diego faculty, staff, and students can view them from off-campus.
