Remote Access and Wifi

About Campus Wifi 

  • 2-step secured - allthruucsd dropdown choiceIf you are on campus, you must be connected to the UCSD-PROTECTED Wi-Fi network. 
  • Do not use the UCSD Guest Wifi network; it will not connect you to our electronic resources.

Remote Access

  • If you are working off campus, you need to connect to the VPN.
  • Ensure that the Group setting is on 2-Step Secured - allthruucsd. This is the only option from the list that connects you the licensed online resources.
  • Any resource with a blue lock icon requires a campus connection through the UCSD-PROTECTED Wifi network or the VPN. 
Steps
  1. Sign in to the VPN first and authenticate with DUO.
  2. Navigate to Library resources.
