Welcome!

This Guide was created to point to resources on contemporary Energy Transitions in Latin America especially as necessitated by the threat and pressures of climate change.  This topic is very interdisciplinary and you may need to:

  • Gather data and statistics on weather and major energy sectors
  • Identify state-owned and/or private companies and organizations providing energy services and products
  •  Find International Accords, National and perhaps even state-level energy policies and regulatory law (Please note that some places to look for these will be listed on the Open Access Page.  HeinOnline is a very useful database for international legal information (especially articles in law reviews but also some international laws themselves -- for example, there is a collection of world constitutions).
