Stuart Collection: Nam June Paik - Something Pacific

Internationally recognized as the father of video art, Korean-born artist Nam June Paik transformed twentieth-century art practice. His innovative, media-based artwork was grounded in avant-garde music and performance art, which he used to expand video and television as artistic expressions in contemporary visual culture.

An illustrated study of the work of the Korean-born multi-media and installation artist, Nam June Paik. It is published to accompany an exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Accompanying the first American retrospective of the Korean-born multi-media artist's work since 1982, this volume brings together the major artworks that define Nam June Paik's singular achievement.
