Library guide to resources in marine biodiversity and conservation

Welcome!

This guide is designed to help you start your research in marine biodiversity and conservation.  Please use the tabs in this guide to discover and link to great resources that the UC San Diego Library is providing for your research.

You may want to start by looking at the basic information found under the Encyclopedias & Handbooks tab.  Use the Books & E-Books tab for access to the UC Library Search online discovery system, library catalogs, and resources for finding books & other publications on your topics  Use the Journal Article Databases tab to search specialized databases for scholarly articles on your topics. And finally, learn more about citation management tools you can use (for free) to organize the literature you find and keep your PDFs tidy.

For more general oceanography information and some Scripps' related resources, please consult the Oceanography, Earth & Marine Sciences webpage.
