A good way to find a topic/case study for this assignment is to choose a current news event. In particular, since most SDGs deal with issues that are also human rights or environmental/climate change issues, look for stories about communities' human rights or environmental problems and/or solutions.
Alternately, if you have an SDG/policy area and a country, you can use the IGO or NGO search engine to search for organizations doing work in this area.
