You can read thousands of ebooks in the sciences, engineering, social sciences, arts, and the humanities through the UC San Diego Library. Use this guide to learn more about our major collections, the best ways to search for ebooks, how to access on mobile devices, and how to save, copy, and print from ebooks.
UCSD Access to Ebooks
VPN (AnyConnect Client)
Download the VPN AnyConnect client on your computer or mobile device to access ebooks from off campus.
IMPORTANT: When connecting on your computer or laptop, make sure to select althruucsd
from the Group drop-down menu.
There is a WebVPN
option that doesn't require a client download (select EasyConnect from this Group drop-down menu), but it may not work with all ebook platforms.
Access on campus with your laptop, tablet or mobile device if not on a campus networked computer.
