What Is UC Library Search?

UC Library Search is our library catalog of books as well as journal articles and other sources. You can limit your results to see books only or articles only.

Tips for Using UC Library Search:
  • You can use AND to combine search terms (autonomous AND underwater), and use OR to search synonyms (autonomous OR driverless)
    • The Advanced Search makes it easier to run these kinds of searches.
  • You can use truncation to search a word with multiple endings. Robot* = robot OR robots OR rotobotics OR robotical OR robotically.....
How to Limit Your Searches:
  • To see BOOKS only:
    • In the search results under Resource Type, select Books (and Book Chapters if you want)
      OR
    • Change the search from Articles, Books and More to Library Catalog
       
  • To see JOURNAL ARTICLES only:
    • In the search results under Show Only, select Peer-reviewed Journals..
