Websites to Get Started
These resources can help you identify representatives at different geographic levels. These are all U.S.-focused, so feel free to let me know if your planned representative is not in the U.S. and you need help identifying them.
Find Your Members (U.S.)
Enter an address, city, or ZIP code to find the U.S. Senators and Representatives for that area.
Find Your Representative (California)
Enter street address, city, and ZIP code to find the State Senate and Assembly representatives for that area.
Find your representative (other states)
If looking for a legislator outside of California, use this site to find the websites for other states' legislatures. From there, look for a list of representatives or a "find your representative" option.
Find your representative (local)
This website includes resources to help you identify local-level elected officials, such as mayors and county Board of Supervisors members. For other officials, try a Google search (e.g. "city council" "san diego").
Search for your representative by name. Includes (when available) a biography, voting record, issue positions, interest group ratings, statements/speeches, and funding information.
