Public use microdata from the U. S. census and American Community Survey; the U.S. Current Population Survey; and international censuses. Data can be downloaded or analyzed online.

1790-2010+. Data from the decennial Census and the American Community Survey, with a user-friendly interface. Allows the creation of maps & statistical tables. Census Tract boundaries are available back to 1940. Also includes religion surveys from 1980-2010, which are not affiliated with the U.S. Census. Not finding what you need in these resources? Sometime Google can help you search these sites or find other sources of data and statistics. All you need is a domain search. So, after typing in what you need, add something like the following:

site:gov
site:org
site:cdc.gov
site:who.int

Just so it is clear, that is the word site followed by a colon -- site: -- and no space between that and your domain type.
