Chemical Engineering: Articles / Proceedings / Patents (Databases)

Information Resources for Chemical Engineering Researchers [shortcut:]

Databases for Chemical Engineering Articles, Conference Papers, and Patents

These are the key databases that index the nanotechnology literature: journals as well as (in some cases) conference proceedings and patents. Web of Science and SciFinder are the best starting places, while Inspec, Compendex, and PubMed are also good databases depending on your area of focus.

How Do I Get the Article?

In most of our databases, you'll see this button next to each reference: .  Clicking this button may open up the article automatically, or you will see options to get the article:

- Online, if available
- In print (linkout to Roger)
- Via interlibrary loan (Request) if we don't have the article.

The  buttons don't appear in SciFinder, but "Link to Other Sources" in the record will connect you to UC-eLinks.
