Welcome to Urban Studies & Planning research at the UC San Diego Library! The tabs above will guide you to resources that are useful in general urban studies and planning research.
Important notes for online classes:
1) The library's Get Started with Research guide offers some great help, including a short video tutorial on how to search the library catalog, search strategies for finding relevant journal articles, and how to get the full text of a journal article.
2) You must be connected to the campus VPN to access the library's online resources from off-campus. Please see the Connect from Off-Campus instructions for more information. Be sure to select 2-Step Secured - Allthruucsd from the group drop-down menu while authenticating.
3) The library's COVID-19 response page has information about current library services, including curbside pickup and article/chapter scans.
4) If you need additional help with library resources, feel free to contact me via email at k5smith@ucsd.edu and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
