How do I determine my companies' SIC or NAICS codes?

Search on and bring up a single company for display on screen. Scroll down to the Industry section of the page. There you'll see the primary and secondary NAICS codes, if available.
Note to Mgt 469 students.: Remember to pay attention about the stock exchange; you need to use companies that do not trade OTC. The exchange is listed near the top of the page, under the Company Type

Search on and open an individual company's profile. The SIC and NAICS codes will be given at the top of the page, under "Industry."

NAICS Search (U.S. Census Bureau)
This free site lets you look up a industry and get a code. It's usually best to use the most recent version of the NAICS, unless already you know you have a reason to find and use a historical code.

A nicely visual site that lets you identify the code for an industry (not specific companies).
