FOSS4G 2021 Buenos Aires - Online Edition

FOSS4G means Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial. This international anual gathering of location enthusiasts is the largest global gathering for geospatial software.

Connect 2020:  OpenStreetMap US
October 29 - 31, 2020 (virtual) 

This free, virtual event is a celebration of our community and all things OpenStreetMap. Connect 2020 will include an informal Mappy Hour Thursday evening, a scheduled half day of talks on Friday, and a day of workshops, birds of a feather sessions and mapathons on Saturday. We hope to make this an annual gathering that enables people from across the country to learn about OpenStreetMap and network with fellow mappers through a combination of curated and community-led dialog.

GeoWeek 2020
November 2-6, 2020 (virtual) 

Last year, at the Canberra Ministerial Summit the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) hosted Ministers from GEO’s 111 Members to endorse a bold and ambitious approach to open data sharing to ensure that Earth observations benefit societies and economies. GEO Week 2020 will showcase the efforts to implement the Canberra Declaration by highlighting initiatives from GEO Members, Participating Organizations and Associates in a series of live discussions and interactive content. Sessions will take place across multiple time zones to promote live participation from around the globe. Several sessions will be pre-recorded and will be made available online through a variety of streaming platforms and available on the GEO website.


Esri Ocean, Weather, and Climate GIS Forum

The Esri Ocean, Weather, and Climate GIS Forum brings together a growing community of weather, climate, and ocean science professionals to share advances in data collection, analysis, and our understanding of metOcean interactions. Discuss how multidimensional data and web apps can put scientific information work for a variety of organizations.

QGIS North America

The QGIS-US User Group is hosting a free online QGIS conference. QGIS North America 2020 will be completely free and will happen on three consecutive Friday's this month: July 17th, 24th and 31st. 

Each day will begin with hands-on workshops. These are free, but you must register for them. After the workshops will be a series of talks.
