Given the deluge of executive orders and other actions in the first week of the new administration, I'm quite confident I've missed or excluded important content this week. I strongly encourage you to explore other sources, while also encouraging you to read this excellent essay from Jill Filipovic that cautions "you are meant to be overwhelmed."
I've included no White House content this week, because I honestly can't even begin to select from the numerous actions taken by the new administration. You can find executive actions and press releases on the new WH website. This New York Times article offers an overview of some of the biggest policy changes from the first week.
Biden administration news releases have been removed, and not moved to an internal archive as far as I can tell, from these websites I monitor: CMS | DHS | DOI | ED | FNS | USDA
The DOC press release page includes Biden administration content in the search function, but there is no browsable archive. Other agency news pages have removed select content from the Biden administration, such as FS (see IA captures for comparison).
General caution: orange circles on Internet Archive search results don't necessarily reflect accurate dates of availability of a website. I've noticed a large number of failed captures (e.g. technical problems) for live pages over the last month or so that show as orange in IA results.
Finally, if you happen to be on Bluesky, please let me know. I'm always on the lookout for good information sources!
